Prix Omra is a price observatory for Umrah and Hajj from Morocco. It is published by Wiki Tours International, a travel agency based in Casablanca. In plain terms: the publisher sells trips itself, and competes with the agencies whose prices are quoted here. This page sets out what that means and the limits we hold ourselves to.
Who is the publisher?
Wiki Tours International is a Casablanca travel agency whose trips include journeys to Makkah and Madinah. It publishes, funds and corrects this site. Pages carry the organisation's name as byline: we present no individual authors, and we will not invent any.
The agency's administrative references are not shown yet. They will be added, with a link to the official list where anyone can check them, once that document has been verified. We would rather leave a blank than print something we cannot prove.
Why would a travel agency publish price data?
Because families budgeting for Umrah or Hajj, often for a parent, find scattered numbers with no date and no source. An Umrah price quoted without its year, season or room basis cannot help anyone judge a quote. Prix Omra keeps those figures in one place, with their context. For readers abroad and for journalists, it also gives one citable record of Morocco's official Hajj cost.
The conflict of interest is real and we state it. It leads to four rules:
- The publisher's own offers never enter a table, an average or a survey. If they ever appear, it will be on a separate line below the table, labelled "Publisher's offer".
- No agency is named or compared until a legal review has approved it.
- No "best price", no "cheapest", no countdowns or pressure to book.
- When two sources publish different amounts for the same thing, both are shown.
What does the site publish, and what does it leave out?
It publishes the official Hajj cost series for ministry-supervised pilgrims, Umrah prices as quoted by the press and the trade, an explanation of what makes prices differ, and the method behind all of it.
It does not publish price ranges computed from figures with different dates and scopes. It does not rule on religious questions: for rites or questions of fiqh, please ask an imam or scholar you trust.
How are the pages made?
Texts are drafted with the help of an AI tool, from a register of facts in which every figure is tied to its source. Automated checks then stop any page that contains a number without a source. The details are on how we produce this site. To write to us or ask for a correction, use the contact page.
