What has Morocco's official Hajj cost been, season by season?
This is the backbone of the observatory: the amount set each season for pilgrims supervised by Morocco's Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs, as published, with no rounding and no averages.

These amounts apply only to ministry-supervised pilgrims. They say nothing about the price of other Hajj arrangements.
For 1446, one news report gives this season the same amount as 1445; until that conflict is resolved, we use the amount published according to TelQuel (February 2025)7. For 1447, other outlets published amounts one to two hundred dirhams away from the final cost11. The 1447 amount is also the first to include the sacrifice (hady)11.

How much does Umrah cost from Morocco?
There is no official Umrah price: each agency sets its own. The only public reference points are figures quoted in the Moroccan press, for different years and different packages.

These figures cannot be compared with one another: they have different dates, different scopes and different speakers. We do not add them up and we draw no average from them.

Why do two Umrah packages not cost the same?
The price depends on how far the hotel is from al-Haram mosque and on the length of stay, according to an agency-association head quoted by Le360 (March 2024)17.
The flight weighs heavily: in an economy Ramadan Umrah put at about MAD 25,000, the return ticket accounted for about MAD 14,000 on average, according to an agency-association head quoted by Le360 (March 2024)17.

How do we read a figure?
Step by step
- A date: the day it was published, and the season it refers to.
- A source: the outlet or institution that published it, with a link.
- A scope: who pays for what, for which package, and the room basis when it is known.
A figure missing any of these three does not enter our tables. When two sources disagree, we show both.
What the figures do not tell us yet
- Our own survey of agency offers does not exist yet. It will be published with its method once the sample is large enough, not before.
- No agency is named or compared on this site.
- The final cost of Hajj 1448 is not known yet: the current figure is a provisional amount, according to EcoActu, and may still go up or down12.
- The press rarely gives the room basis or exact length of stay behind an Umrah price. When it is missing, we say so.

Prix Omra is published by Wiki Tours International, a travel agency based in Casablanca, and therefore a competitor of the agencies whose prices it quotes. Its own offers never appear in any table.
